by YOUR HEAD DYKE IN CHARGE
For the second straight year, Friendfactor is holding its MBA Challenge. Less than halfway through the competition, initial standings have been released. Currently in the lead is the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, surging on the back of an ally pledge campaign held during October’s National Coming Out Week. Northwestern and MIT currently round out the top three. (Someone should kindly ask Tyra where her beloved Harvard is.)
Friendfactor is an LGBT rights organization that works to activate straight allies, particularly in the business world. This is the first I’ve heard of the group, and I have to say, it’s about damn time. Friendfactor seems to be doing the work I’d always thought we’d need gay-straight exchange programs to cover: exposure. Think your workplace could use some? Friendfactor is launching their first ever Workplace Ally Challenge in January. Sign your organization up here.
Keep up the good work, Friendfactor!
Thanks for this great post and the appreciation of our work! By the way, Harvard Business School (the real, full-time one) is in fact a participant in the Challenge, currently ranked #7. 🙂
Thanks again!
